"The Great Marketing Show" originated in 1995 and was repeated in 1998 & held at The Nehru Centre, Worli, Mumbai. The event was held under the aegis of The International Brand Summit which subsequently became CMO Asia. There is evidence in the form of photographs as well as brochures. Shri R C Bhargava, the then Managing Director of Maruti Suzuki Ltd inaugurating it and the principal sponsors were Videocon and Garware Industries. The late Nabankur "Nobby" Gupta delivered one of the keynotes.
